Wireless – you will have full coverage of home or office with our repeater solutions
If you buy a wireless router solution it will have only one area of coverage within close proximity of the router itself. This is fine for a small house or business premises. However, older houses and cottages have very thick walls. A single wireless router might then only cover one or two rooms. We extend the coverage of wireless by using a device known as a repeater. This repeater is setup to communicate with the wireless router that is already installed or with a new wireless access point that we can supply. Each repeater extends the range so that full coverage meets the customers’ needs – regardless of the area.
The equipment that we use for wireless is high power so that the range is extended. The easiest way to extend range is to use high power wireless devices.
If you need to extend a network (or the Internet) to a remote building we use antennas (or aerials) to further increase the range. There are a number of simple antennae available that are easily hidden from view. It is often easy to run a network cable to the remote building if it is close by. The chosen solution depends on costs and customers’ needs.
