- Broadband connections fail or are unreliable because:-
- Your premises are more than 4 kilometres from the BT telephone exchange your Broadband signal may be weak. This will either prevent connection to Broadband, or cause an intermittent connection. The most likely cause is telephone wiring inside your premises. A dedicated single filter will fix nearly all of these problems.
- A fault exists either on your internal wiring (within your premises) or the external wiring (the outside cable to the BT exchange). We can fix any internal wiring problems and identify whether the problem is internal or external
- You have an incorrectly connected or a faulty filter
- Alarm cable has been used instead of telephone cable for internal wiring. We can help to get around this problem
- A modem or router is faulty
- A faulty USB or network port (on your computer)
